L.I.F.E. is partnering with Vodafone and the Politecnico di Milano to conduct a study on 5G connected wearable technology for sports. This Hackathon event will take place on Vodafone Village Via Lorenteggio 240, Milano where students will expand their knowledge by developing algorithms designed to enhance L.I.F.E.’s wearable devices on Vodafone’s 5G network.

The prototype is a full body compression suit embedded with sensors, electrodes and microchips that acquire the user's physiological data. L.I.F.E. modeled this body suit to accurately monitor movement and the functions of the heart and lungs by basing it off of their other medically-certified device.
L.I.F.E. designed the PERFORMER RUNNER for athletes to improve their performance, and the purpose of this Hackathon is to explore the possible use cases of this wearable device given its wide range of data-collecting sensors. The teams will develop algorithms to render the raw physiological data into valuable information for the athlete.
